SUBSCRIPTION ONBOARDING · LEGAL BASELINE

Recurring legal problems usually have a history: an old vendor agreement, undocumented ownership decision, missed renewal or operating practice that no longer matches the business. BOLO’s Legal Baseline is a defined assessment intended to identify the documents, licenses, relationships and unresolved questions that warrant attention. The result is a prioritized roadmap, not a guarantee that every risk can be found or eliminated.

New Jersey-based counsel. Federal matters are assessed for applicable admissions and subject-matter competence.

Identify legal entities, principals, licensed activities, facilities, service lines, customers, vendors, payment streams, important assets and planned growth. Define who the client is and which affiliates are outside the engagement.

Develop a document inventory: entity and governance records, licenses and renewals, major revenue and supply agreements, employee and contractor forms, insurance information, leasing arrangements, intellectual-property and financing documents, and open notices or claims.

Distinguish expiring documents, high-value contracts, agency deadlines, ownership conflicts, missing controls and other questions. The baseline is legal issue-spotting, not an automatic technical compliance audit or an assurance that the company satisfies every rule.

Provide an agreed written list of priorities, recommended document development or redlines, issues needing specialty counsel, a basic calendar of identified dates, and a proposed recurring work rhythm.

YOUR NEXT STEP

Start with a brief, nonconfidential description. BOLO reviews the prospective client, relevant parties, deadlines, jurisdiction and potential scope before any attorney-client relationship is formed.

Online inquiries are not monitored continuously and do not extend legal deadlines. Engagement requires conflicts review and a signed agreement.
